UNDER THE LIGHTS – FINE ARTS The William Bonifas Fine Arts Centers A friendly spot in the central Upper Peninsula where you can tour gallery exhibits, participate in art workshops, learn something new in the educational classes and enjoy theatrical productions. The Escanaba Library Home to numerous programs available for the whole family. From book clubs to poetry groups, the library is home to various opportunities to enhance education, the arts, and personal connections. Bay College Besse Center galleries present major art exhibits by reginal and local artists, while the state-of-the-art Theater is home for Bay’s theater productions, film showings, chamber concerts, and visiting musicians, hypnotists, comics, and other student oriented performances. Dr. Mary Creten Art Gallery Located in Gladstone City Hall and run by volunteers. The exhibits change every two months and are open to the public on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3. P.m. Village Artisans: A Gallery Open from May to October in Garden, Michigan, the organization encourages artists by holding the gallery as a profit business where artist can display and sell their art work Christine’s Gallery and Studio Houses Christine’s work, as well as works from 40 other artists. Located in Nahma, MI. The East Ludington Gallery A large Historic building in downtown Escanaba. It displays works of over 35 regional artists and crafts persons. Players de Noc A non-profit organization that brings quality theater to Delta County and is composed of 100 percent volunteers.
